Mahonia x media ‘Arthur Menzies’

This mahonia is blooming now at the Washington Park Arboretum, where it was discovered. It is a tall specimen reaching 6 to 10 feet, with 18″-long compound-leaves and is frost-hardy. It blooms later than ‘Charity’ so can provide a source of nectar for hummingbirds longer throughout the season.  [Thank you May Dreams Gardens for the Linky Love]
