Foliage Followup May 2014

I usually prefer just one image per story, but I had a hard time choosing just one this month.  Here in the deep shade at the Dunn Gardens, lie cool Oxalis oregana and Convallaria [Update:  Oops, my plant ID expert, Mom, says it’s Maianthemum dilatatum a.k.a. False Lily of the Valley.], both of which are aggressive, but provide a good groundcover.

Then we move into the sunlight, and we find Po’poki, lying in the middle of the Nepeta, completely stoned out of his little kitty skull.

Thanks, Pam Penick for Foliage Follow-up this month!
